Care
All Tourmaline jewelry should be stored separately
to prevent scratching by harder gemstones. Tourmaline should not be subjected
to high heat such as from a soldering torch. Ultra sonic and steam cleaning
could be risky.
Uses
Tourmaline is best used in a well protected
ladies' ring or for pendants or earrings.

Value
Green Tourmalines are the least expensive of all
the green gemstones. They are also available in larger sizes and are readily
available. Indicolite is more rare and would normally be up to double the
price of the Green Tourmaline. The price also increases for both stones with
the intensity and vividness of the color.
