Cubic Zirconium is normally produced as a
colorless immitation of diamond. This synthetic
(FAQ #8) material is now colored (doped) to produce any color in light
to medium shades. The round colorless CZ's are the only synthetic material we
carry.

Sources
|
This man made material was first synthesized in
Russia for use in their lazer applications. It is now produced world wide as
synthetic gemstone material.

Inclusions
|
As with any synthetic only eye clean material need
ever be used in jewellery.

Care
|
If any inclusions exist the stone will not stand
up to the high heat of the soldering torch.

Uses
|
CZs is suitable for all jewellery uses.

As they are inexpensive it is best to avoid the
